Geographic Diversity

A little while ago I was in line behind someone and I heard her talking very excitedly about an upcoming trip to New York City. My reaction, behind her in line was essentially trying to figure out why she was so excited. Then I remembered, not everyone grew up within a one hour radius of New York. Not everyone went there regularly to visit family. Thank you college for once again reminding me that we are all different. And for once again making me feel like an idiot.
