Cupcakes!

In contrast to last week's post, this will be short.

I made cupcakes yesterday. It was a lot less messy than anticipated. Since I was making these cupcakes to give to someone I don't really know how they taste, but the batter was delicious.

Anyway, I now have most of a tub of Marshmallow fluff, most of a bag of mini marshmallows and most of a bag of chocolate chips just sitting in my house. I might use the chocolate chips to make chocolate chip cookies, but other than that I'm just enjoying fluffernut sandwiches and getting a good sugar rush going.

Oh, I also have most of a can of frosting left too. Pretzels and frosting taste delicious together fyi.

My First Wizard Rock Concert!

Okay, this is going to be really long. Last night, February 11, 2011 I went to my very first, well you can read the post title. The show was at the Sidewalk Cafe in New York, and featured, Mary Beth Schroeder as Nagini, Lauren Fairweather as herself and Matt Maggiacomo as the Whomping Willows. I had a great time and met a lot of nice people. I don't know much about writing reviews of shows, so this is more going to be more my favorite parts/a set list.

More Like "My Little Unicorn"

So today I went to "McDonalds" for lunch with a friend (she's actually sort of the reason I'm doing this blog in the first place). I decided that since I was hungry, but not super hungry I would get a "Happy Meal", because, I'm a five year old at heart and I wanted a toy. Any toy. Now when I ordered I was confronted with an interesting question. Is it for a boy or a girl? Now I know that there are gender specific "Happy Meals" (thank you John Green [all of the video is great but the "Happy Meal" stuff starts around :30]) but I decided not to buy into it. This and toy stores divided up into boy toys and girl toys makes me really mad. I asked to be surprised and low and behold, I got a girl toy. BUT THAT'S OKAY!!!!!

How I'm Spending Superbowl Sunday

I've never understood football. Not just it's purpose, but the actual rules of the game. No matter how many times gym teachers or my dad or other varies football enthusiasts have explained how it works I only have the most basic understanding of the rules. Therefore, this Sunday isn't exactly a huge deal for me.

While I do enjoy the commercials that occur during the Superbowl, I'd rather watch the best ones one Youtube tomorrow, than sit through the actual game today. Thus my predicament. This is a day when most other channels don't even try to put anything interesting on, knowing that they won't gain enough viewers. It's sort of like wearing an ugly dress to a funeral. No one's going to be trying to pick you up there, so why bother?
